When is Gothita Spotlight Hour in Pokémon Go?
The Gothita Spotlight Hour takes place in Pokémon GO from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time on Tuesday 19 October. As ever, you’ll have just an hour to catch as many of the Psychic types as you can, though it shouldn’t be a problem finding one.
If you’re looking to collect as much Gothita Candy as you can, or if you’re taking the hour to try and find a fabled shiny, you’ll need to prepare. As ever, stock up on Pokéballs, Pinap Berries for maximum Candy output, and Razz Berries for any unruly shiny Pokémon that you can’t afford to let escape. A good throwing technique is your friend here.
Can Gothita be Shiny in Pokémon Go?
Shiny Gothita is not currently available in Pokemon Go. When it is added to the game, Gothita is one of the many Pokémon without radical pallet swaps on its shiny version. So, you’ll have to make sure to keep watch for pink-eyed Gothita, as this is the only real discernible change from the Pokémon, which usually has bright blue eyes.
